How Our Application Process Works

So you applied for one of our events?  What happens next?

When we first open up our events and our applications, there is an initial phase of general collection and promotion to get a good steady pool of applications for our Event Management Team to process and review.

Sometimes we are able to announce and open applications sooner than for other events, so the amount of time when applications sit can vary.  However, we try to be as proactive as possible.

Typically after about 1-2 months of steadily collecting applications our Team will officially start the vetting process.  And this is where our biggest time investment comes into play.

The first round of reviews will be to review applications and look for the specific requirements we have for the event.  If the applicant doesn’t meet these requirements they will be put to the side first.  However, depending on the event and the applicant’s potential, this isn’t an automatic disqualification, but it does push them back in the priority of processing.

We’ll then look to see which applicants were already at the last event.  Any Advisor reapplying will also get moved down in priority.  While we love our Advisors and seeing them at these events, we do have to balance bringing in new Advisors for our Suppliers to meet with.  But again, this isn’t an automatic disqualification.

Then we’ll begin to get into the rest of the applications and review for references, their numbers, and their statements.  We’ll start reaching out to the references for confirmation of the applicant's professional development and successes.

Once all of this information has been gathered and organized into our system, our Team can then make the final say on who will be a good fit for the event.  Rest assured, if you have applied for our event we will let you know either way if you have been accepted or not.  But please know that the whole process is very time intensive and they are not decisions that we make quickly!

Our attention to detail in this vetting process really helps our events stand out from the others in the industry.  And with each event being a greater success than the next, we can attract a world of Suppliers for our Advisors to meet and interact with.
